Sam is truly what a kelpie is meant to be. His intelligence and patience is terrific both in his working ability and as my pet. He is very versatile in his working ability. He is a good natural casting dog. He is a good single handed worker wether he is in the field or the paddack. He has good anticipation and an excellent nature. He is gentle with the lambs yet good and strong on cattle when necessary.
After a good days work he is happy to come and lay at my feet.
